Project Finally Complete

The project is finally completed

I like to call this our "goodwill wall". 

Both the sign and the leaf structure with the candles it in are from Goodwill. I think we scored each piece for $1.99. The picture frames we found in a box some where, and my mom said she's had them for many years. We then added black&white pictures. One of the kids, our dog Hattie, and the picture from a home-made card my mom received.

We all love how it turned out! :)

I Wish...

Sometimes...

I wish teachers wouldn't give out so much homework

I wish my mom didn't get hurt while she tries to be the best momma she can be

I wish I had the stylish clothes and shoes ever

I wish my siblings weren't so mean or disrespectful

I wish I could please the Lord in a better way and more often

I wish my attitude was always good

I wish that making hard decisions wasn't so...well...hard

I wish the truth in some situations wasn't so hard to say

I wish that the house was always clean

I wish my makeup, hair, and face was always spotless and perfect

I wish that I didn't get so jealous over ridiculous things

I wish my dad had a better boss and a higher paycheck

I wish that money didn't get in the way of so much stuff

I wish that hearts could never be broken

I wish that there were so orphans in this world

I wish friends wouldn't lie and make things so complicated

I wish driving was a piece of cake and could be done with no possible accidents

I wish politicians could make decisions that help everyone

I wish athletes didn't have to get hurt and ruin their dreams

I wish that no one got sick and would stay healthy

I wish that I could take amazing pictures

I wish... I wish... I wish...

BUT

I know... That our God performs miracles and that some of the things above could eventually be fixed.

Nothing is impossible with God!

Our New House: 3 More Rooms

Here are a few more rooms in our house. We've officially been here about 2 months! It's crazy how fast time goes by.

This is the upstairs living room! It's still in process as you can see. There is a footstool missing a rocking chair, and a lamp missing it's shade. lol I think the shade ripped, and the rocking chair we're having new fabric put on it.

This is the very dark upstairs bathroom. We really need to repaint both of our bathrooms.

This is the right side view of the downstairs living area. This is where the boys play most of the time, and so it's nice open space. I think we might eventually add some shelves or pictures.

Then this is the left side view. Our couch (that we had upstairs in the old house) and our TV. As you can see... the sign was taped on at that time. :)

I still have a few more rooms to post:

The boys' room

My parents room (if they let me hehe)

And the downstairs bathroom if I can get a picture that won't blind you. Seriously... it's that orange!
